Timing

Timing will be done by Run the Day Race Management tm .

Run the Day has gone digital—now using state-of-the-art DAG chip timing equipment to provide fast and accurate results. We’ll be using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology from DAG Systems, which transmits times from the finish line or anywhere else on the course where a participant's time is desired. The major advantage of RFID timing is its extreme accuracy from radio signals, not race-chute volunteers—who, while excellent timers, are human and can make mistakes. The DAG System is second-generation technology that relies on a DAG RFID chip that attaches to the back of the runner's bib, not the sneaker. And no timing mats are necessary on the course.

Bibs

Your chip is in your Bib. Your bib must be worn on the front of your shirt to be scored. Runners who fold the bib, or wear the bib on their side or back, may not have their times recorded when they cross the finish line.

Remember to return your bib at the end of the race! The Running of the Monk gets credited for each bib returned, which gives us more money to donate to our charities.
